that must have been at some speed. i bet there's not much left of the frenchie

Not really, only about 25mph. It was just outside the campsite on the Friday afternoon. Traffic was heavy-ish and slow moving.

They still used it for getting around the circuit all weekend and they didn't look like they let it ruin their weekend's motor racing.

I cannot drive, holding a bike licence only although I have enjoyed the laughable pleasures of a Reliant Robin but if I did have a car licence what would I like.

A fully restored concourse condition Ford Cortina Mk3 Ghia with vinyl roof from the 70's

My parents always bought bog standard escorts but I liked the Cortina as a child regardless of how awful they might actually be

Just something about the style that raised it above the rest of the 60's US 'muscle cars'

I hope we are not limited to just the one choice??

Race car would come first, and what could be better than a screaming 365GTB? Ecurie Francorchamps or the Ch.Pozzi 'Thompson' car would be first choice.

Daily driver would be a Lancia. Fitted out to touring rally spec like this one heading for France on friday. Just the ticket for the Mille Miglia, Targa or Tour Auto.

Weekend car would be a California Spider...

I would have to take them all on holiday so i would need something to carry them on. The freshly restored Fiat Ferrari Factory 682/RN2 Team Transporter, the only one remaining, would suffice

Next up, something for my daughters to ride around the country estate roads in.

And finally a mint series 2 Landie for riding around the grounds in.
