Got this xmas '81

Then following xmas got the big one - 8860.

Spent all xmas afternoon building the 8860 car with my dad. Went to bed and magically by boxing day morning it had transformed into the dragster. I wasn't happy that it had been done without me. Even less happy was my mum as my dad apparantly decided to do it about midnight and hadn't got to bed until about 3am so hadn't got up to take the brunt of my annoyance at 7am.

I have one of these too ,but some parts missing

I had a yellow digger that could also be a snow plough and a sea plane that could be a space shuttle (I think). My mate had the red car with full moving pistons in the engine and pop up lights. it was awesome!

I've got in unopened in boxes the football set 3425, a Red Baron plane and a Technic Ferrari...

Looks like the Red Baron might be worth a frame or two!

Having passed all my technical stuff to my brother, the only lego I get to play with now is duplo - currently a mixture of sets from toy story and Winnie the turd

This is sooo cool.

I had the yellow dump truck, a yellow JCB and all the white snow buggies with the chaps that sat in them.

I still have the bits for them but they are mixed up with other lego in a huge plastic bin at my folks.
