Aye............and at this sombre time, I invite you all to gather round and join hands for the traditional saying of Awwww FFFFF........
Still, the eight lads left aren't exactly a bunch of knobbers.......without the need to support the GC, they should go for some stage wins- Boasson Hagen has shown he's capable, and Evans too- they only lost time after the crash by waiting for Wiggins......they're still fit and in good form- maybe an outside chance of either of them making it back to the white jersey if they go well and are lucky in the climbs.
Cavendish was disappointing- lightening fast, but not a hint of bubblin' and greetin' on the podium....
Aye bad luck wiggo and sky, pretty mince day all round, wiggins did look like he had the form to do something. I'd love to see Thomas and Hagen pick up the time and have a go.
Aye top work T, didnae think he could hold on, so much so I transferred him out my team thinking about the sky predicament, poor tactics IMO having EBH and GT hold back so long :?
What a cracking stage in the mountains. Frank S. took off like a rocket when he got that gap. Did you catch the Yellow Jersey chap get a monster attack of cramp after an inspired ride outside of anyones comfort zone let alone someone who isn't an out and out mountain goat.
Geraint Thomas was going fantastic, shame he couldn't hold on, but fairplay to thomas Voeckler for keeping up with the big boys and keeping the yellow.
