Finally have my cinder cone rideable after lusting over some of the bikes in here for so long. Will eventually go to an xt rear derailleur and brakes but all that matters is it moves at the moment. Chain skips a little under load but I'm guessing that's a brand new chain on an old cassette. Waiting on ODI attacks to come back in stock in Australia, anyone see anything else I should be changing? Other than my weed garden.

First hand 19" 1990 Lavadome , that stayed in a barn for many years. Maximum of original parts kept, Ritchey Beacon bar + Sora shifters to monster gravel conversion (a good excuse given to my wife to justify its purchase - a global issue ). New bar tape to come !

There are some stunning bikes in here. I nearly bought a new Kona back in the early 90’s but needed up going down the specialized path.
I now have a cinder cone, it’s great I love it. I don’t know why but I keep looking at others for sale too, an Explosif would be nice but where does it end? It’s the colours and the names lol heck even their rigid forks are pretty……

That’s amazing!!!! I now own my first one but I keep looking at others, is it a diagnosable condition? I fear my shed will look like a poor copy of yours lol

A fine sight indeed I had one specialized rockhopper for years then one stumpjumper for years. I’ve had my first Kona, a Cinder cone for a week and I’m still looking at others. what is it with these things ? Lol
