Konas, lots of Konas.

I was thinking that but haven't done it yet, don't want to be disappointed lol

I reckon it's a regular cro-mo one. Zooming in it looks like there are some areas where the paint has worn off and chipped. Did they do the titanium Velocity in that style?

Excellent and great to see you're getting knee deep into the detail, just the way I like it! Have you put a magnet on the stem by the way...I think you might get a surprise ;)
Done the magnet test and it stuck, dam 😂
On regarding if it's Peatys bike i got some info this week from bizzarely are forklift instructor who comes to are work to test us.
Quick run down, I had to do a fork lift test this week so i thought i know who to ask about the bike when he gets here he might be able to get in contact with Peaty, the lads called Adrian Walker and he's from Sheffield and grew up with him and his brothers etc
So i was telling him i think i've finally got Peatys race bike, so he says send him some photos and he'll try and get Peaty to confirm it or speak to someone who could when he go's back down to Sheffield.
Then this was the interesting bit, i gave him the back story on the bike and said Andy Manterfield used to have it after Peaty gave him it apparently, straight away Adrain went Andy Mants!,if Andy Mants had it then its definitely his bike (Adrian grew up with Andy). Because according to Adrian he was always giving his race bikes to his mates when he was finished with them.
He's still going to try and get Peaty to confirm it but in his words he said if he had it then he had no doubt it was his old bike.
Still all ifs and buts at the moment but it's looking promising.

Are you trying to corner the market? I tried to do that with Serotta's and quickly ran out of money.

Looks about the same size headtube give or take a couple of mill on the 18" Lavadome,so could possibly use the impact headset and Project Two's off it, or do i go with suspension decisions decisions 🤔

Found the 91 Lavadome in my stash of Konas which is a 17" frame and has a headtube length of 110mm like the AA, surely the project twos would fit then 🤔
Also dug out the Marzocchi forks what i had put away and realised they are what it could've been specced with back in 94 so i could go that way, may have to cut the steerer because it's huge but has loads of threads though, decisions decisions 😁😂
