I have the Serial Number documented as KH77017, although I'm not entirely sure that this is correct - perhaps you could confirm, and add some pictures when you get the bike?

Thank you very much for the picture, which I have added to my records, and thank you for confirming the Serial Number.As promised, here it is. I can confirm that the serial number listed is accurate. I still cannot believe i have this bike. It's exactly what i wanted(good tubing plus 94-96 style decals). I never really cared much for the decals after 97.
I will ride it as is for now and would likely just change the grips pedals and saddle.
Found this forum after being curious about the nice bike I just picked up at a garage sale in my neighborhood in Alaska. It rides nice. A Kona Hot TeT 1431.
What does the "C" stand for in the serial number. Would like to know more about it if anyone has some info. This looks like the best place to find out.
