Kona boffins- frame geometry and recommended size

You might be better looking at the top tube length and comparing it to one of you other bikes.

I am 5.10' and ride 18" Kona's but more ideally suited to the 17" just harder to find

I would say the 19" is a large not a medium though.

I'm 6'2" and I've got 2x 19" Kona's. They're both a bit small for me, but I won't get rid, as I've had em both donkeys years. Try find a 20" - unless you like to show people your seatpost and like a fair drop from saddle to bar... Or, get a big ol' riser bar. I've probably got pics in my lava dome and pahoehoe links in my signature that show my saddle height...

Im almost 6 2 and thinking of getting a 94 Lava Dome which is a medium (but has a measurement to top of the seat tube of 19 inch) - thoughts? Dont want to travel all the way to get it for it just to be too small.

6ft 2 here.. played with late 90’s ones.. and it’s 20” all the way unfortunately. All the built ones in my sig are 20” with suitable post. If you wanna look. The lower models appear often in 20”. Kilauea/Explosif/heihei.. not so much.
