In my ongoing search for nice, mid-ranged, preferably original and low-priced mtb's, I bought this Koga Miyata Terrarunner Carbolite (1991) this morning for a whopping €40,-
At first sight it seems in very nice condition with 1 nasty dent in the toptube and a missing metal bushing on which the CO2 cartridges are bolted onto.
Since it is so close to original, I want to know what tires were fitted back in those days; some worn-out panaracers are (still?) fitted now.
Same for the seat now; it has some early gel construction and a interesting but unreadable engraving pressed into it.
Crankarm caps are widely available, I presume?
