I've checked them, no indication that I have those tires.
Still, ....... I'm pleased and before taking it apart for a cleaning, I'll watch it a few more days.

When you bought a Koga-Miyata new in the early nineties it always came with touch up paint. In the case of this frame two pencils: black with glitter dust and a special red translucent carbon-paint. That is probably what you see on the dent. Possibly it has certain characteristics to protect carbon from the elements.
That's the info that makes the bike even more vivid, all these little details.
Can imagine, just as a thought, that they used tools for correct alignment of decals on a headset?

They aren't built like Alan's (npi), had a dent way larger in the 90's on the road version.
It never failed me, and I abused that bike for at least 12 years..
