Kirk Precision

hello all,

Have got a frame that I have identified as a Kirk Precision Road frame, it has been resprayed at some point in it's life but doesn't have the rear derailleur hanger, two questions can I get one? and if I sold it anyone want it?

Looks interesting, but what's it worth as a curio if it hasn't got any cracks?

yeah it's one of those right there.. .any ideas what the hanger looks like? or where i'd get one?

No ideas what it looks like, its a mythical beast like the lock ness monster, a wild haggis. Never seen a picture of one.

Try Mercians.They used to stock the frames.

Quite a few people want Kirk Precisions and they sell very well on eBay, but you'll struggle to find a rear mech hanger sadly. I've got plenty of pics of how they look on my PC and a few on my webpage, if you're interested.

hmmm yes I see doesn't look like it'll be easy to find one, any idea of the value of the frame as is? or if I ebay what I should put it up for?

I may have mentioned it before, but I know that Dave at Herongate Cycles in Essex is still in touch with the original owner of Kirk Precision and its worth a call to him to see if he can help.
