Really?? It's available for photo shoots lol, on the tour de france route? from tour of britain over quarter of a century ago to the tour de france today. I live not far from Eastwood where Raleigh offices are/was/?? lol
On a serious note, I test rode it today with the new fangled wobbly brake/shifter thingy's, bloomin 'ell what a difference they make to the ride, soooo much better than the downtube suicide shifters. I do use this Raleigh so modernizing it suits me better than in its original guise, living on the edge of the peak district it's a little on the steep hilly side, I couldn't manage the hills on the original 42/24 bottom gearing . I have to say it was a real pleasure to ride, I haven't ridden a modern racer to compare it with but I'm well happy with it :mrgreen:
