Wow coming from you that's some compliment, while your on the line Mr spokesman any recommendations for wider bars (on a budget)?

Re:Kellogg's Pro Tour

Here's me and my Kelloggs Pro Tour on the Holme moss summit. I actually did it twice once on the KPT and the on my MTB, although time wise on the there were not much between the 2 literally seconds between them, mtb had the edge, in all fairness to the Kelloggs bike it was my first proper ride on it and not being used to the ride position, suicide shifters etc it did rather well. I am pleased to bits with it.

The RSP bars are 31.8mm oversize clamp fitting http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181392573221? ... 1497.l2648 ,

I'm getting a 22.2 quill to aheadset adaptor http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181404421850? ... 1497.l2648 ,

and the RSP 110mm reach stem is the aheadset oversize type. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/300848190172? ... 1497.l2648

Well I've been playing around with the old KPT again  , fitted a Shimano 105 rear Mech. Freewheel out and in with the Shimano hub/Freehub and Sram PG-850 Cassette, got a couple of them depending on the ride (yep I'm a wimp  ). Back to the red handlebar tape. Shimano Claris 3x8 brake/shifter thingy's. New decals have arrived and saved for a rainy day when I get around to getting the paintwork sorted.

I could have bought a new bike off the shelf...but I would have only took it to bits and rebuilt it a different spec lol, I love the old Raleigh racers of 80's era, I saved this one from being scrapped, although I had no intention of modernizing it initially, but you swap one thing then another thing then another  , before you know it.. you have a new bike in an old frame and another old raleigh is back on the road lol :p
