I had a Prestige that succumbed to tin worm but Orange replaced it with a spangly purple P7 at cost under the O-rangers scheme.....bingo! I wonder if it's still being ridden now.....

Not long enough for you. Have decided to keep the forks. Frame (and seatpost) still available.
