I met one of these in the last stretch of my ride today.full SUV chav/drop of at the school/drug dealer cars, aka Land Rover side of Jaguar.
I'm guessing, and this is none PC me, it is aimed at people who want to be called they them etc.
Our local hospital is spending money on new badges for all the they thems.
My audiologist is a they them, in Doc Martens, a skirt, half a beard, and thinning ginger hair with nascent bald spot!
I’d suspect that their marketing agency probably knows a bit more about its customer base (present, but more importantly future) than many others. The demographic of “typical” customers is changing and they need to move quickly to provide what people want.

How those people identify is totally irrelevant, as the prime requirement is that Jaguar identifies them as “customer”. The “they/them/their” pound has exactly the same value as a “he/she” pound. In fact, given the demographic associated, added to potential future brand loyalty, it’s probably worth considerably more.
Akin to an “I’m not racist, but…” post.
Take it somewhere else.
