it's postage... AND PACKING!!!

I have posted in relation to this before. Reuse old packaging is the cheapest way and greenest!

I have dealt with a guy who charged for tape, bubble wrap and cardboard and i was not overly pleased. Packaging is available if you look for it - shops etc can give you a box and cut it to size, newspaper instead of bubble wrap - it is not rocket science and saves money - on both ends of a transaction.

Mr Raleigh - use the bubble wrap to releive stress - bubble popping is a great hobby

And, finally, my top tip, if you have a car repair place nearby - a car wing comes in a cardboard box which is very close to the size of a frame - with minor alterations.

Harry loves bubble wrap but the thick stuff is un-poppable for him

Nice tip re: the car wing box.

Be good to find that listing Richard!? You know the one you sent me from a guy on ebay who did a break down of the p&p charges..

An example of bad packing - although it did not cost me! This was left in the driveway by some dodgy courier - no one in the house so he left it in the middle of the drive! Saying that - who would steal it?

Last time I packaged a bike up, I got the bike box from the LBS and then used all those hundreds of free for life Morrison's bags I had amassed over the years  worked a treat :D

Those bags are worth money here!!! Cheap ones are 5p, for life maybe 10p. I presume you have not got this stealth tax yet.

They cost b/w 29p and 39p. I have everything delivered now, no car, so still have heaps left in the loft  I just kept going in and buying them.
