Honest question.

My Dads birthday is April the first, so every year I try and get him a light hearted joke present...

He's an older guy, and naturally worried about his health at the moment. So, is this in bad taste? Me and the missus think it's hilarious.

I don’t think it is bad taste. Got to laugh during such times or go mad or have a fight!!??

Looks great! My 6 year old has to make one for a school project  , so could you share how you did it? I have a few ideas already, but all help is good!

Re:

It may seem hilarious as no one yet you know has been affected by this but its killing thousands and in the early stage. We all know people affected by cancer,a cancerous cell model in a jar would be in bad taste...

daytona, you do have a good point. However there are lots of people making jokes and things like that.
If a member of my family had died from coronavirus and someone gave me that I would probably go mental at them.

Re:

My wife's high risk. If I gave that to her and laughed, my life would be in more danger than hers. :(

Re:

MTS, humor is a matter of personal taste.

My best mate - and I mean a proper supportive best friend that anyone could wish for - is frequently joking with me about why I have had Cancer 4 times now, and this time its terminal.

He says it's because I'm Gay, and that it's God's punishment to me as he hates poofs. I find it hilarious - he's now 'blaming' this Coronavirus Virus on homosexual debauched activities, in a deranged crazy Religious Evangelist type stylee. He can say anything to me like that, and we fuc#ing crack up laughing. I certainly wouldn't find it offensive if he gave me a model of a Cancer Cell in a jar. There will more offense caused to some members of my family and congregation when they hear the 3 Black Sabbath songs that will be played at my funeral  .
