Is this a GT LTS-3

Just been given a frame in exchange for use of some of my shed space and I'd appreciate any model info I can get

The guy found it in a skip, dumped, and has passed it on to me..he wants some of my shed space so I'll let him have the space free for a few months in exchange for this frame.

He thought it was Orange, but from my research it looks very much like a GT LTS-3..but hey what do i know. Trying to get him to mail me with the serial number as I am away from home at moment.

Elastomer shock is scrap...nice to convert to a sprung loaded unit ..but what is possible?

These are the only pics at the moment.
Forks are carbon fibre look
Rear disk, via an adapter plate by the look of it, not welded lugs.

Yes, definately a GT LTS, couldnt tell you which model though as there are a few of them, not bad for a freebie though!

I would say '96 LTS-3, '97 bikes have the cantilever brake studs on a different angle to allow V-brakes to clear the top of the seatstay.

Have sent my mate a message..just waiting for him to get back to me with the serial number.

As you maybe able to see from the pic, the cantilever/v-brake studs are not fitted, but the brackets are there to screw them in to.

OK, I have got the serial number / chassis number

S7JA2698

Any info now i have this number?

It has a Hope rear brake disk adapter kit Hope No.2....now dead.. the back of the caliper unit has corroded though
