Is there one bike?

I think if you own multiple bikes then you sort of owe it to youself to make sure at least one of them is your A-list choice.

I'm slowly working on the A-list choices but I'm also working on having at least one bike from each year in the 90's, then I'll start working back through the 80's.
It's all time, patience and money though in the end.

a sanandreas for me............ i'd just need the frame and swap all the bits off my dh8

Yes there is.

My custom '97 Santa Cruz Heckler that I've owned from new, special order paint and polished swingarm etc. Even the catalogue said it: if you could have only one bike .... But if you ask me next week or even tomorrow the answer could be (very) different so for now I'll stick with my too many bikes,

Enjoy!!

Pictures mandatory? Here's the sweet 2000ish trailbike build with 105mm Zocchi:

 A bike that could convert from a streched out, racing riding position, to bolt upright for technical and downhill, would be good.
This would need to convert automatically without having to stop. Imagine the whole bike smoothly adjusting, transformer style, as you ride.

:( I'm afraid that I don't have a picture to hand. :(

:D

That actually a really cool idea. We already have manually convertable geometry on bikes, and remote adjustable forks and seats, with a bit of Knight Industries Three Thousand shape shifting technologies we could get anything from a shopper, to full kitted 8" FS rig. ace! :D

and as usual, I'm serious :D ;)
