Not much of a story here just an appreciation of a bit of 90’s best of British although I am biased.Having acquired the bike around four years ago not much has changed from its previous owner a few small changes to suit my 90’s dream bike enjoy!
A shy 1995 Cannondale M2000 which reached its final iteration after a long restoration and customisation journey:
- Optimised for fast gravel and road (who needs a modern ugly Gravel bike?)
- 7,93 kg light
- Cassette is 11-28 (reduced to 6 cogs), crank is 30/48
- Ultrafast Rene Herse Rat Trap Pass tires
- Predator of carbon bikes
I know it's a bit of an unusual entry for a BoTM, as it is not set up for Mountain Biking. But it shows the versatility of these beautiful old frames for many of the popular biking trends today
It all started with a frame set in very bad condition, with lots of corrosion and paint chipped. Restored carefully to look like new again.
