Is it a......... Yes! Yes, it is!!! ;-)

You will be better starting with fine wire wool as you have a lot of oxidation on the frame. Feear not though, it wont damage it and polishes up fast afterwards. I prefer to use a spalsh of water also just to improve the finish and speed of cleaning it up. You will be there ages getting starting with polish.
Word of warning with T Cut and Auto sol. Although perfectly capable of getting a good finish, they both leave residue in the welds I found which is a pain. That Peek stuff I mentioned does not and I'm sure there non residue others availiable.
Dont froget 4 litres of elbow grease!!

Re:

Thanks Tone, couldn't find Peak in Tesco's this morn, or even scourer pads any more, as they are all these fancy twirly pan cleaners nowadays, so thought....sod it....I have scourers at home...pack of 10 for a pound!

So armed with those and various gritty things including cutting in paste, I got to this without much effort.... (although I hear you re. the residue left in welds etc)

Weight with head set cups: 1855gms. This one now called 'Zak' 'cos it's Kaz back to front...see what I did there...cider helped again to oil the wheels of commerce....or cleaning....

(Should add, crap pics as it's been gloomy and pouring down all day here, so these taken in the car port with much reflection bouncing off....)

Re:

Yeah.....

The Breezer is kind of finished, just needs tweaking and better bars...and seat post....and can't be taken on the beach!!

Re:

Not got a lot further as been working all day, out all day tomorrow, so.....

Am I right in thinking that, with the gusset under the down tube, as opposed to under the top tube/head tube junction, this must be a '96, rather than a '94/'95...? Also does seem to have the bi-ovalised down tube, not that I've really looked that closely yet....
