I was able to have the handlebar mounts welded this week. I decided to have a professional do it instead of myself. Its getting there

I had to do a mockup so here it is. I had pulled the front inner tube for another bike so this wheel is only for mockup. The first picture is an original for reference

So far im leaning towards one that is a metalic purple fading to white to blue like the one below.

I’d be tempted to go with full chrome then used a colored lacquer which will really make it standout….

Have you priced chroming a frame? Last I checked it was $600 just for the forks

Well yes as one of my project bikes was fully chromed a couple years ago & this was around £1500 at a decent chrome plating specialist at todays prices your looking at 2K+
