I decided to replicate my dream bike

UPDATE
After 7 months I finally have the handlebar mounts. A friend drew them on a CADD program and sent them off to a company he uses and this came back. They are chromoly steel, the bolts are hardened and the pins are stainless. Now I just have to make them fit correctly and braze them on. Hopefully in less than 7 months :)

Nice job & I’ll be interested how they’ll look once attached to the fork crown area.

No but it does look to be butted at either ends when looked through the tube…

Apologies for the thread hijack……
So are they oval rather than teardrop shape? There seems to be a few different versions of the Air tube set.🤔

And different ways of building them too - the first Olmo aero frame I saw had the downtube fitted with the narrow end of the teardrop facing forwards. It also had a weird pinch bolt affair that clamped an ovalized Campag Record seat pin in the 'V' gap between a chamfer-seat bolt and a relieved collar. The section of the seat pin wasn't a good match for the seat tube and as the owner found out in short time the pinch bolt did a pretty good job of cutting a piece out of the pin.
