I’ve not seen one …

I had a monolith fork once, never seen a frame though.

My first mountain bike was a Raleigh Cajun. 531 frame (and forks I think) . Not quite on brief as I had one, but in all my years on here, never seen another.

Bikes that you know must exist, but have never seen in real life or even on here

I’ll go first

1988 Fisher Procalibre
There was one of these in Evans Croydon window for a while bitd. I would detour to gaze at it. Nearly everything has been featured on here at some point. I have not seen a FAT 10th Anniversary in the flesh yet but its on my bucket list one day. There are plenty of uber rare early rides I would love to see let alone ride but most are in the Marin Museum. I like the really early bikes ie a Breezer Series I, II & III.

Not a bike, but Kona's Front Line fork. Did they actually make it does anyone know!?

If we're including forks too then ....

Wracking my brain, I’m sure I can recall reading (way) bitd that Keith Bontrager was working on an Aermet frame. Never seen it.
Never have seen or even heard from this.
Or do you mean his full suspension prototype shown at Eurobike Show in 1996? It was aluminium frame.

Or this experimental bike shown here

The fully suspension looks indeed a bit close to a later Dean Carbore Aermet prototype below from 1995

or the Nevil Dahli Lama

but sure, all bikes with AMP rear triangle look a bit similar...

I think all of those are rather rare if at all existing in serial production.

The American Beryllium?

A full sus Merlin with multiple girvin elastomers suspending multiple frame tubes (like an elevator on steriod). Vaguely recall magazine pics way back in history.. Apols for my ropey description - it makes (some) sense in my head!
good example!

Saracen kiliflyer comp, seen em here but never seen one in the flesh, dogs bolx SE.... Lightweight version of the common ones, Cilo with the front and rear weird suspension.... And sneaking a roadie in here.... Zinn chorus.

I’m truth, I don’t know - aermet is a steel alloy. My assumption was that it was a hard tail but I guess it could just have easily been full sus, given it was well into the 90s at this stage
