They are lovely.. my ultimate still has to be a 440/RT Charger though..

Kirstys uncle had (or maybe still has - but I reckon they'd be dust by now) a few of those cars the mobsters drove in the old films (like the ones the weasels drove in Roger Rabbit)..

I need a lottery win... :(

A mate of mine has a black 69 440 R/T four speed Charger, at best it'll manage 12mpg  , my 68 had a mild 318 in it (5.2) would manage low 20mpg which was'nt too bad.

Could'nt find a pic of that Gasser Pop, found this cool Willy's Gasser though :)

Love the cars.. not mad keen on the bike.. I like 'rat' bikes but tha's a bit much even for me

First car is reminiscent of something that Russell Mitchell would build (even though he builds bikes, it's that kinda style)... very cool..

the gixer was stock till i dropped it on diesel (thats my excuse anyway  ) .............. so i fixed it

i put the rod together over 6 months for about a grand in total - best fun car iv ever had

Didn't even recognise it undressed like that

Historically have had more Suzukis than any other maker... so's my Bro' oddly enough.
Favourite was and will always be my old GS1000E . . .

Now that's an invitation to envy. . . wait 'til I show wifey tomorrow..

its quite good fun trying to keep the cost as low as poss, easy too if your open to using 'non name' parts ;)

for example, my handbrake lever, liberated from an old crane in the scrappy, sanded it down an drilled some holes in it - sorted for £3 :D

and my fuel tank, an old air tank from a lorry (scrappy again ;) ) complete with my low tech, 100% accurate gauge :) ........ £3.50

although it wouldnt win any shows, i dont think it turned out too bad ...

That Rod is cool  , wish i could build something like that for a grand, my projects always end up costing a fortune

I'm sure i've seen that Charger at Santa Pod :)

This was my 68, wish i'd kept it longer and used it more  .

Before that i had this 70 Mach1, built from a rolling shell.

This Chevy was a daily driver for a couple of years, had a stout 5.7 small block in it, turned up on E-bay last year engineless and painted silver with the wheels painted black, probably ended up on the banger track

Ran this Imp as a daily too, did'nt go far in it though, had a gutted interior, no heater, perspex windows

I love old school rods and customs.

And gag at the sight of modern 'street rod' tat with a/c, billet, leccy windows, tinted windows, etc....

One of the worst kind of new school rods where Boyd Coddingtons souless plastic pigs!! My favourite stuff are the likes of 'Shoe box' fords, business Coupe! Merc's and the like.

I am seriously thinking of buying another Volvo Amazon so I can do a bit of a custom job on that. You may have seen my VW notchback?
