now now lets not get heated about this. I am building a bike out of paper and when it breaks i am going to put it on ebay and say its one of a kind and make loads of cash.

I am trying in some way to justifiy the price paid but I have looked through a telescope that can pinpoint a star 2 billion miles away but even when i look through this i can still not find a reason why this frame was so valuble to someone.

Every thing has a price, my Dad has an old BSA he has had for 40 years to me its a leaky old piece of junk that he spends to much time and money on to keep going, but it you offered him £10k for it he tell you to trot on.

My point is I would give him 10k for that frame to build it up ride it just the same as some boy racer spends 20k on a boby kit for a corsa.

yes all very true but all i was saying is were i live a bicycle is called a push bike .....but its still a hell of a lot of dough for a frame :roll: :roll: there again if they can spend all that on it they can not be on the bread line
