i think im gonna build the parts off the `dog into the scott, im guessing ill need an aheadset adaptor? is there such a thing, as a i really like my dh1,s .

Yes they sell the adapters on ebay......

quill to ahead adapter....go for it it will be far far nicer than the old dog

If you want to use the ahead-stem and bars from the dog and out 'em on the scott then you will need a "quill adaptor'. If you just want to re-use the bars from your dog and aren't bothered about the stem then you could look around for a quill stem with a two bolt face-plate instead.

In summer gt-85 is fine, or if you prefer then try finish line dry lube or weldite tf2.
