I'm looking for a stem for my M-Trax.

But I want a classic MTB Ahead stem, either Polished or Ti, but I want made in England, USA, Canada, France, Germany or Italy. No Chinese, Taiwanese or Korean stuff please.

But I can't seem to think of anything, I do like the look of the Pace RC45 and the Ringle Zooka ones also the Syncros Cattlehead (two of my bikes have the polished cattlehead/prod though and now I want something different).

I also like the original RSP 2 bolt Ahead stem which was originally on this bike - or a similar style Stem.
(The RSP one was probably made in Taiwan)

Is there anything retro-ish around I could consider?

I have been trawling the Net - and all the modern Stems I like cost in the region of over $200 +I suppose that's what happens when I want anything but Made in China/Taiwan/Korea/India etc

here's what the bike currently has;

An ART adjustable stem - looks nice I think, but not worthy!!
(the Headset is a diatech)

Any suggestions?

These may give you some ideas or even a old Race Face stem.

Modern? Try Syntace . 99 g for their lightweight ones or 150 for downhill rated...

I have this 130mm, 10 degree (up or down) polished Control Tech stem. It's USA made, beautiful fishscale welded aluminum, and it has a removable faceplate, so riser bars are easy to fit.

25 quid plus shipping if you want it.
