GT Psyclone 1994 16 inch - very slow build

Different level, of course, but I changed out the squishy Judys on a 98 GT Bravado (silver) for a set of black rigid GT forks... much preferred it both in terms of ride and looks.

Forks need paint so I was thinking of having them gloss black and adding decals as you say in matching orangey.
Good thinking! 👌

So shall I take it that rigid is cooler than Mag21?
Both me and @PhillB are big GT fans and I always prefer rigid over suspension as they just normally look batter with original forks. Owned only GT MTB's (Okay I had a Trek 7000 as a "training MTB" that I picked up cheap) during the 90s and never had front suspension on any of them, so I'm a bit bias! Had GT forks, Pace RC30 forks and then Custom Fuquay Gumbo forks...

Personally, I think so, on a steel frame, yes... Mag21's on a Zaskar or RTS, no doubt about it for me  (I've just got some decent ones for my Zaskar LE..)

I can use the Mags on my RTS project.

I might have a mock up with different bar/stem combos.

Wheels I’m going with polished silver Araya 400 on m900 with skinwalls.

I only had rigid on the x2 Zaskars I owned, However I had the Fuquay forks sprayed to match the Rock Shox Judy SL yellow!!!

Don't try a Breezer. I will always be wedded to GT, but I do indulge in a little Breezing on the side. All steel, All rigid. FTW!

Incredibly pretty, with those clean and crisp welds.
And it keeps the store sticker! brilliant
Good find, congratulations.
It will surely be spectacular when you finish it.
