There's a rule in our house.... I don't ask about cost or number of shoes and handbags....I don't get asked about cost or number of bikes.... this works well for both parties

To be fair it’s rare I tell her I’m buying anything as I usually sneak out during the day whilst she’s at work. Works well I find and once you are past a certain number , they all blend into one

It needs to be something special to fetch it in the evening for me.

My wife hates shopping with a passion, I think I've bought her more handbags than she has bought herself!

My mother-in-law was over from NZ when we moved late last year, she was horrified when she saw bike after bike coming out of the removal truck and she turned to me and bluntly said "Why the hell do you need all these bikes???"

If I went rigid …. Would you use

Answer atac stem in silver with silver hyperlites

Or the 94 GT alloy flip flop in silver with GT super lite bars?

One is high end well known stuff , and the other is pretty rare OE GT tech shop bits. However the GT bits aren’t well known or even look high end

Tough call! If it were me, I would probably go the GT component route as I have with my Team Avalanches and Zaskar.

But then IIRC, Psyclones were sold as frame sets (?) so there is no 'factory spec' as such...is that correct?

YES YES YES!
It would look even cooler if you got the GT logo's on the forks with the same orange detail on the yellow as per frame decals to help make it look more cohesive/like a purpose made frameset.

Yes frame only so no factory build

Forks need paint so I was thinking of having them gloss black and adding decals as you say in matching orangey.

So shall I take it that rigid is cooler than Mag21?
