Online media - having more and more effect, especially with the young - generally left wing = good
Left logic.
But I didn't say that. I said generally. The Twittersphere and to much the same extent Facebook tend to be heavily weighted towards the young. The liberal. The metropolitan wannabe elite if you will. Not forgetting the downtrodden, excluded and social failures. Which as we've seen from the election results tend to be more of a Corbyn persuasion than anything more sensible.Harryburgundy":2r8ppq4v said:It's just a little easy and convenient to suggest all social media leans towards the left isn't it?technodup":2r8ppq4v said:Mainstream media - having less and less effect, especially with the young - generally right wing = badKDM":2r8ppq4v said:"hey look they are giving our candidate a rough time" even though you know it has little effect on the electorate? Empty vessels make the most noise. And the Twittersphere is emptier than most. Jimmy Carr, JK Rowling and many more have had their share of abusive dribble for tax or Brexit reasons. When 'the internet' view is Corbyn good, May bad I can well understand why most keep quiet.Harryburgundy":19vcjf3q said:Interesting that you think a celeb supporting the Tories would be seen as toxic to their carreer...a wonder why?technodup":19vcjf3q said:When did you last see a celeb back the Tories? I'm not though, I'm just pointing out there are two sides to it. Where it's not right is the wild west aspect of the internet where any nugget with a grudge can abuse people to the point of physical threats.Harryburgundy":19vcjf3q said:That can't be right? Surely your'e not a right winger complaining of media bias are you? That would be hysterical.
Austerity never started, we still spend £1bn a week more than we earn.Mike Muz 67":19vcjf3q said:Don't you know? Austerity is officially over, according to the PM. Even if we now have nearly twice the national debt we had before.
