Friday night is nightride night!

Re:

It's obvious ye've no had recent experience of being merried, once ye've been thegither for ages they'll dae anything tae get rid of ye for a few days.
And it was only 4 days, a week and a half on the pish at the rate we were going would not be survivable.
We left the rugby club at 4.00am on the Friday, got back at 7.00pm on the Monday, let's just say most of us resembled men barely alive, having a last drink in Charleroi airport waiting the 2 hours for the flight home.

Re:

looks like i'm doon in Englandshire on friday now and not back till late on.

will arrange sumthin for a coupla weeks time hopefully.

Re:

What about this for elsewhere, there's the SXC course at the Meedies?
It's not that long or that difficult compared to Pitmedden or Blairadam but it's different.
If we started at the carpark at bottom of Harran Hill Woods, we could climb to top of Harran Hill then do descent, then short distance along loch side path onto the track through woods at side of loch.
Which gets you to the main centre of the Meedies, then head to the White Woods skills/jump area, around and through there, then exit at top onto hillside climb on narrowish footpath with a wee descent, then up through field to the Ladath Stripe (may be called The Avenue by SXC guys), there's a wee loop in the woods at top of field followed by more footpaths back onto the Stripe, muddy, along to the climb on other side of Harran Hill, down again to start at carpark.
I've also done the track through the loch side woods in both race and reverse directions to extend the distance a bit.

Re:

Tosser. ;)

If you have a look at a map of Lochore Meadows it will all be clear. There's a wee carpark at the NW corner of loch that you get to when you turn off from the Kelty to Kinross road (B996), Harran Hill Woods is just next to carpark.
