What about this for elsewhere, there's the SXC course at the Meedies?
It's not that long or that difficult compared to Pitmedden or Blairadam but it's different.
If we started at the carpark at bottom of Harran Hill Woods, we could climb to top of Harran Hill then do descent, then short distance along loch side path onto the track through woods at side of loch.
Which gets you to the main centre of the Meedies, then head to the White Woods skills/jump area, around and through there, then exit at top onto hillside climb on narrowish footpath with a wee descent, then up through field to the Ladath Stripe (may be called The Avenue by SXC guys), there's a wee loop in the woods at top of field followed by more footpaths back onto the Stripe, muddy, along to the climb on other side of Harran Hill, down again to start at carpark.
I've also done the track through the loch side woods in both race and reverse directions to extend the distance a bit.
