frame display wall bracket

after dropping a wall inside the house for SHMBO. i'm allowed to hang a frame on a spare bit of wall as 'art' :LOL:

just the frame only, no parts ...

any ideas for brackets etc.

Halfords sell some Moretz brackets which are basically L brackets wrapped in blue vinyl, nice and cheap too. Hows about knocking yourself up some small but neat oak or pine triangles and mount these, might make it look a bit more like art than just storage? Maybe mount it infront of a nice generic large picture of an outdoor scene? All depends on your type of home really I guess, modern, contemporary etc...
 
B&Q sell some chunky hooks covered in red rubber, as well as various other hooks in brass and steel. You could also have a look at curtain pole brackets. Ideally you want something thin but strong enough to take the weight, so it's not visually obtrusive. You want to be looking at the frame without being distracted by how it's attached to the wall.
