fitting OURY grips - what's the best method?

Blatantly copied and pasted from Neillls blog:

So, you've read about using GT-85 and WD-40, Hairspray, water, glue......what about the 'Zip Tie Trick'? Well, it works a treat. Get two long and strong Zip Ties, feed them down inside the grip, one either side, so the 'teeth' side faces the grip....push to get it started, make sure any logos or patterns are lined up how you want them, then 'ski' them up using the ties by pulling the ends (for best results ziptie the ties together so you have a 'handle'). Once they are all the way up, pull harder and the Zip Ties will slide out.

getting them on- is there really a way to keep them on esp in the wet

the way I stated above, is for keeping them on, especially in the wet. I should have a pic somewhere. The zip ties won't crimp your bars, but will keep the grips from sliding off.

I used carb' cleaner for years with no prob's. Give the bars a good clean with it first, spray a little on bars and in grip then slide on and into place. Give a little time to dry.

WARNING. I used this on a clear set of WTB's years ago and they melted

WD-40! tiny bit on the front of grip. slid them on then off again a couple time to build up a goo. slide on one last time then don't touch them for a day and they cake on nicely! had no problems this way! good luck

MY way is better...

Plug ends of bars.
Spray some spraymount adhesive inside the grips.
Use a dustoff tool on your air compressor (slide the needle under the grip while pushing it onto the bar) to install.
Make sure you have them straight before the glue dries...
