A couple of weeks ago I would have said yes, but now I am not sure ...
After doing all that work on the chain suck, I am not sure I want to go near that area again ...
Now I am putting Ti risers on the airborne, I had a spare Ti flat bar and segmented bar ends (should suit the fork well) :
But I was missing a seat post :-(
I like the USE Ti posts (got one on the Marin and one for the airborne - in picture above) and managed to find one for sale
Unfortunately when it arrived, it had a few unexpected surprises that need some attention ... :-(
Some damage around the pin hole :
By the position of the damage, I think it has been stuck in a frame at some point and the hole has been used to lever / twist it out ...
It's got it's fair share of cable / saddle bag rub to :
The saddle part of the clamp was a bit knackered so that will be replaced and these are a bit distorted :
But they can be fixed fairly easily
On the upside, the pin was OK
but that will be replaced anyway with a custom item
Jumping back to the bars, those that followed the airborne build may remember, I made modified reinforcements to stop the bar ends from distorting them :
Those last two pictures were obviously before blasting, the forks will be done in the same finish as the pictures near the top, along with the seat post when I am happy with that
