I heard back in august it would be cold. The company which predicted the past 2 cold winters before the met office reckon that this will be the coldest on record.

Only difference if it snows round here is that I get to work from the computer in the house instead of the computer in the office. Oh yeah, and loads of idiots seem to appear on the roads travelling way to fast and wondering why they can't stop.

Last year got nearly a week off due to the snow, My boss and me left the office at the same time 10.30 due to the snow we took 2 different routes out the office both the same distance I got stuck in traffic for 5.5hrs and it took me another hour or so to get home. The boss took over 12..5hrs to get home. I only got home as the traffic was moving slowly and a turn off the Bellshill bypass was near so decided to try my luck.

Still if I get another week off work due to snow I'm not going to complain!

Forgot to mention the other difference as well. First flake of snow falls and every shop within a twenty mile radius of our house instantly runs out of bread and milk :roll:
