my theory is less ice-caps leads to more water, that means more clouds due to more heat........those clouds travel with wind, more of that this time of year, hurricanes etc......


that means more big clouds with heavy water coming to cold areas that turns to snow.......and more of that too!

Back in the last worst lot (2009?) I noticed a whole load of brand new gritter lorries being delivered that October.

Guess what I saw today, being delivered in September...

and i have bought a car for the winter
so it better be cold

We have just had two very harsh winters on the trot up in Northumberland with constant snow from late November through to late feb. My guess is much the same for the coming months. Time to dig the trials bike out again as it was the only vehicle i had that was capable of getting up the hill and into town.

Hope so been good snow past few years up here and I'm about 2hrs drive from Glencoe and fort William love the snow as I get sent home from work hoping for an extended Christmas holiday this year with it.
