Yeah, it's a Traverse up there, best £20 I've ever spent!



Managed to get all the collection out, think I need to clear the frames away as never going to build them. Anyone near Farnborough want a free frame or two?




Next projects! Already have put LX groupset on one.



Oh and for whoever asked about the Tuff Traxs headset size.

Hey Dan.....loving those frames mate. What do you have kicking around? I'm passing through Farnborough from time to time...

BTW the Traverse Comp is in bits at the moment. All the decals were pulled off the frame but I have a new set from Gil. It is at the bottom of my Saracen projects list at the moment but I'm not made keen on the paintwork - kinda meh metallic black. Was thinking of getting it powder coated in the lavender colour of the 89 Traverse, or even the purple of the 1990 Traverse that you have. Actually the 1990 Traverse was my first proper MTB.....still miss it!

If you want the Ltd edition or the tuff trax back, let me know when your next passing through, both are too small for me anyway.
Trekker has a threaded bottom bracket but may have another go at fixing it and build it up with the xt groups I have.

is that the old magenta Tufftrax you got from me? could well be interested in taking that back - it has horizontal drop outs right?
i have an 89 blue one which i was going to convert to SS but the frame needs a lot of work.....from memory the one you got from me was quite tidy?

Headset on my current 89 Tufftrax is 1", as it was on the other two I've had and the 89 Eiger.

Getting the itch for some more Saracen action looking at this thread. 1989 Traverse or Kili would do the trick.

This is my latest upgrade to my ongoing Sahara project. Blue slicks make sense to me, am doing a lot of road miles at present, got up to 42 kph on the flat, plus it looks good now
