This may be sacrilege....... But I'm thinking of single-speeding it.

Right. I have nearly finished bastardising my 89 Tuff Trax. Loads of original bits taken off going spare if there are any takers...

Re:

Saracen branded bars, stem, saddle (small rip in back corner) and yellow bottle cage. Shimano bits: 500LX f&r mechs, shifter/lever combo (right needs attention) and rear mech guard.

I realise this is a bit cheeky on this thread so I'll do a proper one in the For Sale forum when I get a chance.

Send me a PM in the mean time mate if you want owt.

Go for it mate, I don't realistically have any need for them atm.

You're a gent :)

Just when I say no more, another one pops up to tempt me :)

Picked this up today, 1989 Traverse frame with some nice rust spots, covered it in wd40 before stripping it later to see what I have to work with.

Found it on the Freeads.

Just given it a clean and added some of the bits from the spares drawer.

Very rusty and looks like a lost cause as it had a shitty SIS mech on the back, found out the reason for this is that the rear hanger is a mess.

Hey ho, least the wife got a shopping trip out of it!
