Not on those hills around you you wouldn't, by eck it test your (well, my) thigh muscles.

Actually, the toe clips are great with the right shoes, very secure and easy to get out of. It's just getting the second foot in that's..... 'interesting'.

Strangely enough I have some cycle clinic spokes waiting to be built into some 70's wheels

Glad the MKS pedals got you mobile, design classic that hasn't changed since my O levels and before...

This one shows the one issue with my restoration, so must have been built around the same time.
