I picked this up a few weeks ago from Tootyred. They'd done a lovely job on the frame , adding silver and gold panels to the existing (lovely) purple frame.

I'm building it up as a do it all / commuter / shopper bike using what I have available. But given that I'm a complete tart when it comes groupsets, thats a mixture of period XTR and modern XT/XTR that I've taken from my bontrager build (which will be going back to period when I get around to sourcing a rear QR).

The steerer on the fork is massive, but i'll avoid cutting that down as quite a lot money was spent extending it in the first place :)

anyway, here's a couple of pictures. It'll get a tubus airy rack next and be treated to tour of the nearest tesco car park.

This has been among my most used bikes this year. Its done a fair few commuting miles into and out manchester, carrying a heavy burden of sourdough bread and artisanal pastries in the process.

I really like it , its comfortable to ride, handles nicely and just works

the last few days of dry weather hasn't hurt either!

Looks like a 22" frame? I just picked up a '90 in this size because it had a first gen Syncros post, now I'm liking the bike so much I'll probably throw some DX at it.
