Restoring a pair of PD-M650's, if you have a pair of these kicking around let me know, have stuff to trade or F&F. 👍

You'd better off with a complete, nicer set-I doubt it's worth reusing old bearing balls also. They usually go for 20-30 quid in decent nick (as they're the unloved brother of the mighty M735)-just my 2p worth of babble.

I just want to fix these up before I tackle some nicer ones, probably going to buy some new bearings, just dust caps and screws I'm struggling to source.

You can get the bolts from any bolt specialist. The only thing is they will probably be stainless rather than chrome plated.

However, i could only get 16mm, so had to cut them down a bit to fit.

Just regreased my DX pair - it was missing the rubber seals on the inboard side - they can be bought new from various places for a few quid - it might have been SJS that I got mine from. Just need to find a way to hold the cone still whilst tightening the outer nut.
Having seen the OE and (very) expensive Shimano too was thinking of trying a box spanner and inserting a long T-handled nut spinner down the centre of the box spanner. Or wedge a screwdriver blade in!

Just to complete the thread.

Thanks lads, still looking for dust caps, also struggling to find 2.2mm bearings, will 2mm do the job?

I think I've got a pair of these that I was going to have a bash at but a bolt snapped in the body & I couldn't drill it out. I'll have a rummage in the garage & see if I can find them
