Derren Brown - C'mon then, how'd he do it?

He (Brown) said something about it being a year's work. Split screen telly is too straightforward for him.

My favourite one is when he played 8(?) Chess Masters at the same time, and beat a few of them, drew a few and lost one or two. They were all interviewed after the matches and they all estimated his chess level to be excellent.

In fact, he was remembering the moves of the players and copying these in response to his opponents - in effect, they were all playing each other and he was just moving the pieces.

He does come across a bit smug, but he does have a gift for reading people and getting a lot of information from not much.

I remember that one Jimster - v impressive indeed. The other one I liked was at a dog track where he was "convincing" the staff "this is the winning ticket" on behalf of a few racegoers.

Missed this one - off to youtube...
