Frame in. Test plate was actually very similar to the blue it is now. Was tempted by the purple but resisted. Was I right? Still umming and arring :facepalm:

Purple with silver bits.............

Or blue...................

Still time to ring!

It's back. Five day turnaround and a lovely job. Sunbase Swindon. Ask for James.

Silver base with translucent blue over. Really electric!

It was a toss up between this or the purple. Thinking of getting the explosif done in same blue.

That's looking great. I have a 86 Dawes Nomad in the shed that I plan to get painted soon.

Did you have to sand the frame back yourself or did they strip it back?

They did it all. Left it as you see it in earlier pics.

Only thing left to decide is tyres. I really don't like tan walls but i think they might suit this. Any suggestions/offers? And it won't be those nasty splashbacks!

I wouldnt get too hung up on tyres, just use what actually works if you want to ride it.

There are a lot of designs that simply dont work in our muddy climate be they 1980's, 90's or 21st century design
