If it does its the nobs for sure, that top tube is Max, and I just hope its not rotten and can be saved, or it might be a pricey one to save if doing it properly.
 
Genuinely keeping my fingers crossed for you, those that have ridden these rarely part with them.

Its not looking good for the top tube in the cold light of day. Quite a lot of rust not sure how deep its penetrated but the tube is also dented on the underside towards the front half of the bike.

I have taken a few quick pics now I've just got to work out how to get them on here!

Okay someone on here suggested this a while ago shake the frame and see if you can hear any rust inside, then gently tap the tube and shake again to hear if it sounds worse ;)
