Dating abandoned GT Talera

Yep definitely a 1992 model year. Would've first appeared for sale in late 1991.

The 1991 model year colors were Granite and White/Grey Web so it's got to be a 92 which was the last year the model names were on the down tube.

Just to confirm, here's an ad from '92 with the Talera in blue squeezed in at the bottom. Not great resolution, sorry, but you get the idea:

Take your foot out of your mouth....Talera's NEVER EVER had groove tube top tubes. This model was spec'd as an upright city bike/light trail model with entry components. Only the Outpost was lower in the pecking order back then.

Got to hand it it to gm yet again, spot on.

I think 'oil the chain and pump up the tyres' may be more appropriate.

I agree, lube it up and give it a good pump.
