The sad aspect to this is I believe you actually mean it... :?

Certain people were rehashing old shite, which I deliberately didn't get involved in, but then more intelligent contributors diffused the angst with pointed humour which makes the same argument but in such a way as to cause no offence.

The original theme is still there for all to see if they wish to contribute; but the fact that the thread has developed the way it has would suggest that people would prefer have a laugh at their own expense rather than get involved in yet another p*ssing contest...

...and as far as 'real world encounters' are concerned, based on the evidence of my own eyes and ears when these guys meet up, I think you are indeed the odd one out. Lighten up
