Conversion from 2X9 to 1x10

Don't need it all the time, but yeah I find my FS bike with 38x11 waaaay under geared at times, other bikes with 44x11, much more useful. You know, hills and stuff. Plus, I'm a masher, 100rpm is far less likely to happen than 35mph decents, or 40 for that matter.

Re:

It's also a cruising gear to keep the bike running. I have a 42 and 11-25ish setup and I hit the 11 when at a reasonable speed on the cycle paths/minor inclines etc and move and just cruise keeping it at that speed.
See not being a roadie super fast pedalling is not my thing and I'm not a masher, like in the gear above, ticking over for eco driving as they teach now.

Re:

Im totally blown away by the n/w rings ability to keep the chain on. Been through several rock gardens at speed and no dropped chain at all!

Re:

Been riding with the setup for a while now and it's been everything I hoped it would be
My knees are better than they were thank God-I definitely recommend the AB oval ring
Not one dropped chain as well!
Im a complete convert!

Incidentally, my 9speed setup is for sale now I'm sure I'm not changing back! :)
