Meta 55's are a great bike, if you get the right one, 2010 model year saw a change in tubes, the down tube curves towards the head tube for clearance and they lost the gussets on the head tube junctions. I know of a few earlier frames that cracked at the rocker arm pivot mount on the down tube, early ones had the weld start and stop on the side of the bracket creating a stress raiser, on later ones they continued the weld around the bracket ends which solved this problem.
Mine has served me well for the last few years, they ride fantastically and to be honest I've not found anything else in my budget that rides any better.
I'd recommend one any day.
