I’ve been called a lot worse anyway If the clown emoji was intended for yourself , don’t be so harsh on yourself. It’s perfectly acceptable and sensible to ride from spring through to autumn, unless you have no choice, that’s what I intend to do. So I guess this pain will be relived for me too. The saddle I rode on today was quite firm on the riding bones, the only thing that saved me was my padded undies I’m going to try out a Rolls saddle for the next ride, I’ve heard good things and I’m waiting for one in the post.

I'm surprised he could tell your cleats were poorly adjusted because he needs a polo-shirted technician, a bike jig, a computer and £150 to even set his own saddle height

If I'm riding past a cyclist with their rims bumping the tarmac i will suggest air and offer the use of a pump, but if I'm driving, I will keep quiet - I think it's because in the UK motorists comments are 95% hostile (although in the French mountains its 95% supportive)

That's flummoxed me I assumed a cager was someone in a car, ie a metal cage.
Never heard of cager, and can't see how the word relates to a cyclist

I think he means "the cager" is a sports cyclist but currently behind the wheel of his audi q5.

Never heard the term cager either. Still not entirely sure I’ve made the link either.

Last time I saw the word Cager used to refer to car drivers was on some of the motorbike forums I used to frequent.
